Tips for Patients During the Pandemic
Many patients have had questions about ways they can best contribute to the goals of health, safety, and comfort with regard to the dentist. Here are some things to keep in mind:
1. Pay Attention to How You Feel
If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms prior to or on the day of your appointment, please call us to reschedule: fever above 100.4, dry cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, diarrhea, nausea, loss of sense of smell or taste.
2. Go Digital with Screening
You can complete the required COVID-19 screening form digitally on your cell phone before you arrive on the day of your appointment. It’s not only fast and easy, it helps minimize the number of people in the office at the same time and reduces shared paperwork. This means fewer items in the office that you need to touch. No cell phone? That’s okay! We can still take care of it inside the office.
3. Be a Loner
If possible, please plan to come by yourself to your appointment. Of course, parents, guardians, and caregivers are always welcome when assistance is needed.
4. Watch the Time
To help us maintain the best social distancing processes, please plan to arrive at the office no more than 5 minutes before your appointment.
5. Park and Call
Once you are on site, please call us at (610) 667-6666 to let us know you’re here. We’ll provide instructions and then let you know when it’s your turn to come inside. Our goal is to keep your in-car waiting time to a minimum.
